A Note from Our Managing Director: Looking Ahead to Q3 2026
Our Managing Director reflects on Q2 and shares what’s in store for Weiss Technik UK this quarter.
As we move into the second half of the year, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on what has been another busy and rewarding quarter for Weiss Technik UK.
Q2 was defined by growth and a continued commitment to supporting our customers, colleagues and wider community. From attending industry events and launching new initiatives to expanding our digital presence and fundraising for charity, there has been plenty to celebrate across the business.
One of the highlights of the quarter was our participation in a number of industry exhibitions and conferences, including our first-ever event in Ireland at the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference and Exhibition. It was fantastic to meet both existing and prospective customers, strengthen relationships and showcase the environmental simulation expertise that Weiss Technik is known for. Expanding our presence in Ireland remains an important part of our strategy, making the launch of our new dedicated Irish website particularly significant. The new platform will help customers across Ireland access the information, support and solutions they need more easily than ever before. You can take a look at our new website here.
Supporting our customers has also been at the heart of another exciting launch this quarter: the Helpdesk Heroine. Created by our service and support team, this initiative gives us a new way of sharing our engineers' expertise through practical tips, useful insights and guidance that customers can apply in their day-to-day operations. We already have a selection of handy hints available, with plenty more on the way over the coming months. I encourage you to explore our Helpdesk Heroine content and discover ways to get even more from your environmental test chambers and processes.
The theme of helping others extends beyond our customer support activities. Throughout the quarter, our team has continued to raise funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, a charity that provides vital care and support to families across the region. I’m incredibly proud to share that, thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our colleagues, we’ve now raised over £1,000 through a combination of fitness challenges, tuck shop sales and a fundraising raffle. It’s been brilliant to see people getting involved over the last few months, whether that’s by taking part in a challenge, buying a snack from the tuck shop or donating a raffle prize. Every contribution makes a difference, and it’s something we’ll continue to build on throughout the rest of the year.
Looking ahead, Q3 is shaping up to be one of our busiest and most exciting quarters of the year. Our events calendar is packed, beginning with Battery Cells & Systems Expo where we will be joined by Schunk Sonosystems, followed by the Farnborough International Airshow, the 60th anniversary CEUG Annual Meeting, Defence Vehicle Dynamics (DVD) and finishing off with the Defence Summit 2026. These events provide valuable opportunities to connect with customers, partners and industry leaders across the sectors we serve, while showcasing the latest developments in environmental testing and simulation technology.
Behind the scenes, we’re also working on a number of exciting projects. While I can't reveal all the details just yet, what I can say is that the coming months will bring some significant developments for Weiss Technik UK, and I’m looking forward to talking about them in more detail when the time comes.
For now, I'd simply like to thank our customers, partners and colleagues for their continued support. The first half of the year has been full of progress, and that's only possible because of the relationships we've built and the dedication of the people who represent Weiss Technik every day.
I hope to see many of you at one of our upcoming events over the summer, and I look forward to sharing more news with you soon.
