PPM News - February 2023

02-03-2023

February 2023 February has again been a busy month for the fabrication of bespoke monitoring systems with the completion of five final effluent turbidity monitoring kiosks. Service repairs have included an overhaul of Proam ammonia monitor from Wessex Water returned for service after 13 years of continuous operation. Sadly, we deemed the repair of one originally supplied to Holdenhurst 18 years ago as economically unrepairable, so a replacement instrument has now been purchased. Similarly, after more than 15 years operation Sembcorp at Wilton have decided to replace their Proam instrument with a new model. Another Proam final effluent monitor was also commissioned at Anglian Water in Buckinghamshire which was installed as a replacement on-line analyser, into an existing kiosk. Two new UVT instruments have also been purchased as replacements, originally supplied with a UVT treatment system. A portable UVT instrument has also been purchased by a local water company for validating their on-line instruments. Internationally, Forbes Marshall our Indian distributor has placed an order for two Protoc TOC analysers ranged 0-500 PPM TOC with the automatic acid wash option.
