We are dedicated to incorporating biodiversity considerations into our sustainability initiatives by sourcing materials responsibly and employing energy-efficient production techniques. These efforts help to reduce pollution, cut carbon emissions and conserve natural resources, indirectly supporting the wider biodiversity of our environment.

Our production processes are designed to minimise water usage through controlled mixing environments, which are more efficient than traditional methods. This conservation supports broader ecological goals, especially those benefiting aquatic ecosystems.

Our commitment to biodiversity is further reflected through our MPA membership and their pledge to promote best practices in biodiversity enhancement.

Waste and the Circular Economy
We follow a comprehensive strategy focused on optimising resource use, reducing waste, and embracing circular economy principles.

By using modern manufacturing techniques, we produce items to precise specifications, significantly reducing the need for on-site modifications and limiting excess material and waste during installation.

Operating in a controlled factory environment enables us to use raw materials efficiently, including optimised sizing and reinforcement placement. We are proud to uphold a Zero Waste policy, aiming to divert 100% of process waste from landfill. Any waste generated during production is either reused or recycled within the factory.

Our concrete products are designed for long-term use—often with lifespans of over 100 years. This durability minimises the need for replacement and supports circular economy goals by extending product life. The inherent strength and adaptability of precast concrete also allow components to be repurposed in new projects.

Carbon Reduction
We are fully committed to lowering our carbon footprint through sustainable practices, innovation and adherence to industry standards.

Our goal is to minimise the embodied carbon within our products, while contributing to a low-carbon built environment.

All of our products are manufactured in Shropshire using locally sourced materials. This not only reduces emissions related to transportation, such as fuel consumption and mileage, but also supports the UK supply chain.

By prioritising local suppliers, we foster shorter and more sustainable supply routes. This approach reduces emissions further while bolstering the local economy.

Our production techniques are designed to minimise both material waste and energy usage, helping to lower embodied carbon without compromising structural integrity.

We also adopt a whole-life carbon strategy, considering emissions at every stage—from raw material extraction to manufacturing, transportation and installation—ensuring the full lifecycle of our products is optimised for sustainability.

As members of the MPA, we continue to follow industry-leading practices for carbon reduction and environmental responsibility.

Social Value
We are passionate about supporting our local communities through various initiatives. These include donating to local charities, food banks and sports clubs, as well as raising funds for community projects.

Over 93% of our workforce is employed locally, and we provide apprenticeships and work experience opportunities to develop regional talent. We also engage with local universities through competitions and collaborative activities.

All our products are proudly made in Shropshire, and we are committed to ethical business practices—paying our suppliers on time to maintain a positive and fair supply chain. We pay our taxes and are active members of both the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and the MPA.
